ESNNA Policies

The ESNNA is the use of the bodies of minors for sexual, pornographic or erotic purposes in exchange for payment, promise of payment or other benefit such as, for example, food, clothing, cell phone, etc. In this context, the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Tourism (Mincetur) seeks to raise awareness among regional and local authorities, tourism service providers, and the general public through preventative measures aimed at eradicating this problem in the country. At majestictravelgroup.com, as a responsible company aware of the tourism activities we undertake, we are committed to respecting, developing, and adhering to actions that prevent this problem. Furthermore, we implement these measures with all our personnel involved in our activities. Below are our main actions to help eradicate this harmful practice:

Specifically, as travel agencies and tour operators, we adhere to this commitment by signing the Code of Conduct against the Sexual Exploitation of Children and Adolescents (ESNNA) before GERCETUR and pledge to comply with the principles and duties established in this document, as well as with the General Tourism Law and its regulations regarding the prevention of ESNNA.

We conduct regular training sessions with all our staff to identify potential cases of exploitation of adolescents and minors, so that these can be reported to the appropriate authorities.

We require the corresponding documents (passport, identity documents, and/or any document that proves the age of all our tourists) to issue bus, airline, and activity tickets. This ensures that any minors traveling with us are accompanied by an adult relative. We do not issue tickets to minors under any circumstances. We are completely independent of any requests related to human trafficking and sexual exploitation; on the contrary, we will report such requests to the appropriate authorities.

  • All our staff (guides, drivers, office personnel, restaurant and hotel staff, among others) receive training on:
  • The use of children and adolescents in pornographic activities.
  • Sex tourism.

Trafficking of children and adolescents for the purpose of commercial sexual exploitation.

This ensures that everyone acts with sound judgment and professionalism, always safeguarding the well-being of travelers and the community (including adolescents and minors). We have signed the Supplier Code of Conduct, through which all stakeholders and all activities throughout our operations’ value chain commit to upholding the five commitments established in the document, as well as reporting any instances of sexual exploitation of children and adolescents (ESNNA) to the appropriate authorities.

As an additional aspect of our Corporate Social Responsibility Policy, we indirectly promote the well-being of children in our region and country by generating income for families in the destinations where we conduct our tourism activities. We also support rural communities with regular oral hygiene campaigns, improvements to recreational spaces and schools, and other initiatives.
