FLOATING ISLANDS UROS AND TAQUILE

We begin the tour with pick-up from your hotel at approximately 7:00 am to the main port of the city, then we board our comfortable and modern motor boat (speed boat) with panoramic views enjoying its landscapes and also the flora and fauna accompanied by a professional tourism guide who will provide information at all times. Our first destination will be the Floating Island of Los Uros, better known as the aquatic tribe inhabited by indigenous people descended from one of the oldest cultures in America, they are an ancient people of ancient race, the inhabitants live on blocks of plant roots aquatic, and they build their own homes using the reeds, they make their own way of life, their economic activities are fishing, hunting, crafts and tourism, they make it easy for us to share their experience and we can participate.  

After enjoying this beautiful and unique place, we continue to another Island, Taquile Island of great scenic value, the inhabitants of this Island are famous for their hospitality, they still preserve their cultural patrons, they welcome us with music and dance also some demonstrations of their way of life with typical clothing, continue the walk enjoying beautiful landscapes of the Island and almost all of Lake Titicaca, you can also see the mountain, on the way we will visit a family's house to learn about real life and its fabrics of men and women “textile shop”, then the typical lunch at the restaurant, later we headed towards the beach to enjoy the crystal clear waters of Lake Titicaca then we boarded our boat to return to the city of Puno. We finish the tour with return to your hotel.
